It is HOT and it looks like this heat wave sweeping the Columbia River Gorge and the Pacific Northwest will continue for the next week or so. When temperatures rise, it is important to check on our elderly and disabled neighbors. See if they need any help, if there are any household problems they might not be able to tackle, such as yard work, grocery shopping and household chores. Do they need help with air conditioning or other ways to keep cool?
